Hello, I hope you all had a decent new year! I’m Mayonaka89, an Explorer of Ohanacraft! I figured it was about time I wrote a blog post here. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do as my first post, and even longer for me to write it. But here’s what I chose…an interview!
Interviews could be a great way to learn about Ohanacraft and the people that play on it!
By the way, if you’d like to get interviewed or have a suggestion for a blog post, feel free to let me know and I’ll consider it!
Oh yeah, the person I’m interviewing? She’s another writer of this blog, a good friend of mine, and January 2022’s Staff of the Month…RandomFluffiness! Helloooo RandomFluffiness!!
Q: So, Fluff. I understand you’ve been a staff of Ohanacraft for quite some time. An Explorer! If you remember and are okay with sharing, how long have you been a staff member? Did you want to be one before?
A: I have been a staff for almost two years I think, and yes! I always thought it would be cool to be a staff. I loved the server, and wanted to help it in any way possible.
Q: That’s super cool! So you’ve been around a long time. You must’ve seen OC grow and evolve over the months. Along with new players, we’ve gotten some new servers as well! What are some of your favorites, and why?
A: Well, the creative servers, simply because I love building, messing around, and a good roleplay when there’s one going. I’ve also been playing a lot of bedwars lately.
Q: Ooh, that’s great! It’s amazing to see people building whatever they want and interacting with each other. Sometimes it’s small (but meaningful) things, but other times, people pitch in to help a giant project! Can you name a project or two that you worked on for several days with others? How did you feel when you completed it?
A: Well honestly I usually build solo, but awhile back I was working on a roleplay where it was always night—i had thought it was a really cool idea, and that’s actually when I first built a mini house! If you have visited my c2 plot or know me in general you know I often build tiny houses and 11 block tall statues. It’s not my best work, but I love the tiny houses it brought to me!
Q: Sounds adorable! Seems like a great way to express yourself and your emotions. Minecraft is such an open world, so you can basically do anything with it. What’s one of the most unbelievably cool things you’ve seen in Ohanacraft? It can be a redstone machine, massive pixel art, anything!
A: Well, one of the most epic builds in OC is the lobby! It has beautiful mountains and huts, and there’s plenty of secrets to find, which is wonderful. You never know when another one might be added.
Q: Ooh, yeah! Lobby is one of my favorite builds as well! I absolutely love hunting for secrets and easter eggs, they’re pretty much one of my favorite things–anyway, let’s see…Ohanacraft has a lot of minigames and servers and plugins. What’s one or two things you’d love to see added to Ohanacraft in the near future? It can be absolutely anything!
A: A build battle minigame, like theres a theme, you have five minutes to build, then everyone votes. I think TC had something like that. Ohanacraft still occasionally has build comps ofc, but they’re few and it takes days to end. Which is still fun, but very different 🙂
Q: Oh, that actually sounds really fun! I do actually remember a minigame like that before…it might have been on TC, yeah. All right! This has been a rather short interview, but some of you are probably getting bored so I’ll wrap it up. Fluff, do you have anything else to add about Ohanacraft, or Minecraft in general?
A: I’ve been playing minecraft for what, 7 years now? That’s a lot of time. I remember spinning around and breaking/placing random blocks when we first got the game and didnt know excactly how to play it (arrow keys werent working to move o.o)
i’d just say i was dancing :]
Sounds relatable 😂! Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions, Fluff, it’s been super fun!
And that concludes our interview with RandomFluffiness! Thanks for reading my post, I really appreciate it <3. Anyway, let me know about suggestions, look out for new posts about Ohanacraft, aaand see y’all later!
This was a really good interview, thanks to Fluff and May, I would love to see more like this 😀
Oh, thank you! Glad you liked it
