A Fond Farewell
Hello all and welcome to the a very special Ohanacraft news webpost, written by your truly, Prism_Skywalker. This post will not be covering the happenings of the entire month, but instead will be covering a very recent event: The change in leadership when it comes to the Ohanacraft DevOps team. DevOps are responsible for keeping plugins updated, opening new content and staff when necessary.
For years now Minecrafter10081 & ArwenOC have been attending to the server in their roles as DevOps, with them both being responsible for where Ohanacraft is today, in the best way possible. Minecrafter or as he likes to be called “Seismic” has been always tying to improve OC, whether thats updating servers, giving players fun events or just hanging around keeping watch, his presence has been felt.
The same can be said for ArwenOC, who has really been a mentor and inspiration for me to the world of datapacks, but for Ohanacraft has been the creator of some of our most popular minigames! Those being servers like /mini with games changing every few months, from road runners to fishslap and snowballsnipers. Or the Sneaky Snipers saga which has just received its 4th iteration. But truly his efforts have been felt and enjoyed by the playerbase.
We would also like to give a brief shoutout to MiniCrafterD for the great ceremony he gave these two DevOps, and am glad I could help!
With the moving on of these legends in Ohanacraft’s history, comes a bright future with the recent promotion of Auresco to DevOP which I will say he’s already been doing a great job.
With all that said I, the players, the staff and Coowners would like to end with a thank you to these two players, Arwen & Seismic and that we hope will still see them on from time to time, but am pleased that they now can live in retirement when it comes to Ohanacraft.
