Ohanacraft News: SPECIAL EDITION: Arwen’s Winter Games Return!

Hello fellow players, I hope your having Jolly experiences on Ohanacraft and if not, maybe that’ll
change! Because as of yesterday evening: December 4th 2022, Arwens festive winter games are back!
That’s right cosmonauts has unfortunately retired but in it’s absence Arwen’s put back one of his festive
triumphs and has even done some backend updates to make it actually work in 1.17.1! But what are these
new snow festive games? How do we play?
Well to get started you need to do /mini which will prompt you to enable a resourcepack now that may not
pop up, if it does not leave Ohanacraft, select the server and click “Edit Server” then click the
resourcepacks button till it says “enabled” and for those who don’t understand, I will have a video up
shortly to visually show you the process, but once you’ve got all that done, what are the games? How do
you play them?
Well the Winter Games pack actually features three minigames those being, “Neighboorhood”, “Arena Of
Frost” and “Sledhill” and you may be saying, those sound like map titles, well that’s because they are! But
you see each map is a different snow themed minigame!
The first is Neighborhood: While playing this map you will have ten lives and in order to be the winner
you must collect enough snowballs to defeat your opponents as Snowballs and your shovel are your only
forms of combat, PS: To use the shovel hold right click but anyways, that’s the first game… and the one
who is the last man standing will become the winner!
Next we have the “Arena Of Frost” a cold hearted battle for staying victorious where you must defeat
your opponents three times in a row to become the winner, the game has a rounds system so once you die
you’re out for that round but once someones gotten 3/3 streak then they are the winner!
Finally is the “Sledhill” Sledhill is a more fun game in my opinion where you climb to the top of the
snowy sledhill, hop on a sled and try not to get hit by the incoming snowballs! If you get into the portal
five times you will be victorious!
& that is it for these festive minigames, want more? Don’t ask me or Arwen, just enjoy what you got for
